SWEET (Slavic Women Everywhere Empowering Together), my nonprofit foundation, transformed research on Slavic history studies and intersectional feminism I had been doing for fun into an advocacy organization. By combining my interest in these subjects with humanitarian efforts, I sought to aid women in Slavic countries.
