In the summer of COVID-19, I formed two virtual clubs to offer my peers a continued sense of community. With most summer activities canceled, I felt it was important to our mental health to provide alternative social connections in the absence of face-to-face interaction. For Book Club, teachers and students met in advance, creating thoughtful presentations that illustrated each presenter's passions and perspectives.
