The memorization of facts and dates in history can be a tedious task. Music, on the other hand, has the ability to capture our attention in a singular way. Incorporating music into the study of history can give students an insight into sections of history that seem obscure. Because music tells stories, it can help bridge the gap between the past and today. When music, history, and culture combine, the perspective becomes more singular, the facts more captivating.
