Growing up, I packaged my whole life into three square feet in the corner of my bedroom. Every tiny chair in my dollhouse was perfectly pushed in, every miniature book precisely aligned, and every bedspread meticulously smoothed; each room in the dollhouse had to be absolutely perfect. I would politely ask visitors not to play with it, lest my world unravel.
