Since the age of five, I have lived with my mother, younger brother, and younger sister. My father had left my mother a single parent at the age of twenty. The divorce was very sudden, so my mother did not have time to find a job to support us. In fact, having married at the age of 15, my mother had not worked at all her entire life; she believed my father would always be there for her.
