In Year 9 I visited the ‘City of Arts and Sciences’ complex, which precipitated my interest in science. I learned about the ALMA observatory and its research on comets, and was fascinated by how spectroscopy is used to find the chemical composition of the comets so far away and deduce structural information, which inspired me to pursue a career in Physics. Apart from my A Level subjects, I study Mathematics and Physics from the Spanish curriculum, which cover additional topics such as relativity and orbit dynamics.
