As my future grows brighter, my 90-year-old grandma’s health deteriorates day-by-day. She suffers from continual anxiety because of her family history of dementia. Her father suffered from mental confusion, logical disconnect, and bladder and bowel incontinence problems that were not appropriately treated. Her continued fears have pressed our family to begin planning for her long-term care, focus on early detection, closely monitor her health, and seek preventative treatment.
